Walk to school week – 15th – 19th May 2017
We would like to encourage all classes and staff to walk to school, as part of our school travel plan and healthy lifestyle choices we would like to encourage parents to walk to school with their child, although it would be wonderful if you could do the whole journey we understand that may not be possible so don’t worry, even if you manage to get off the bus a stop earlier and walk a bit further, it all helps, teachers will be recording their pupils walking pattern that week and results will be sent to Southwark. Winners could receive up to £150.00 Active Travel funds for their school.
“Which ever school walks the most will win the Golden Shoe Trophy and £150 worth of Active Travel funding for your school!”
Each participating school will win a certificate to acknowledge their efforts to get walking.
