Year 5 will visit the British Museum on 24th January to attend a workshop called A Gift for Athena, about Ancient Greek religion and how the Parthenon influenced other cultures across the world.
Added to that, the British Museum building itself was inspired by Greek architecture and they will be exploring the building and columns to decide which type of columns – Doric, Ionic or Corinthian – was the main focus.
